Back Bay in Newport Beach
Photo Field Trip Photography Workshop
Wednesday 10/5 7:30-11:30 am
Want to learn how to improve your bird photography? This is a great opportunity to see and photograph some beautiful birds in a peaceful sanctuary. The Back Bay in Newport Beach is an estuary (large coastal wetland) that is home to over 200 species of birds spanning 547 acres. It is a typical stopover for birds flying on the Pacific Flyway. Bring your zoom lens and monopod or tripod for some great steady shots.
You are welcome to find a carpool buddy or take your own car.
If you want to meet us there, be sure to arrive there by 7:30am sharp so that we can make the most of the morning light. Remember to dress in layers and wear good walking/hiking shoes.
We will practice creatively using our camera settings to get the most out of this unique environment
and capture its true beauty reflected in our photographs.
